Every foreign investor or representative of him, who want to open a company in Turkey
, must go to the Trade Register
in order to incorporate the new firm. After he submits all the documents required for the incorporation and the registration is finished, he will receive the registration certificates that are also available in an electronic database and everyone who needs information can access it.
At the Trade Register you may find the main details about a company registered in Turkey, such as:

- share capital etc.
From the Trade Register you may obtain copies of company documents and the Turkish clerks are obliged to issue them to the public. You can receive the information by mail, e-mail or directly at the Trade Register office.

If the founder of a company in Turkey is a foreign citizen, he must submit the following documents for registration of a company: name and address, a decision adopted by the board of directors (if a legal entity opens a new company), certificate of activity, signatures of the representatives of the company, articles of association.
If the owner of the new company can’t come in Turkey in order to register the firm, he must give the power of attorney to a legal representative who will take care of the procedure.
