Turkey is a country that attracts foreign investors and this is asserted by the latest collaboration between Turkey and UK, this time in the field of stock exchange listings. Turkey’s principal stock exchange, called Borsa Istanbul, signed a deal this month with the London Stock Exchange so that the latter will start listing Turkish stocks. This could very well mean that the value of Turkish companies will increase and that more investors will come looking for business opportunities in Turkey.

New investments in the tourism sector are necessary, if Turkey wants to reach the potential of countries like Bulgaria or better yet, like Austria or Germany.
The total value of Turkish exports in 2014 was a record one: approximately 157.6 billion dollar, the largest amount recorded in the republic’s recent history. Compared to last year, the percentage of exports increased by 4% and car sales are at the top of the products exported by Turkey.
