The EGID report issued by the UN assesses countries on a 0 to 1 scale, based on 3 dimensions. These are the online service index (OSI), the inherent human capital scored through the human capital index (HCI) and the status of the development of telecommunication infrastructure rated through the telecommunication infrastructure index (TII).
In 2018, Turkey had an overall score of 0.7112, while in the sub-indexes it scored 0.8889 in the OSI, 0.8148 in the HCI and 0.4298 in the TII.
