According to the UN, Turkey climbed 15 places in the E-Government Index for 2018 and now ranks 53rd at a global level. The higher ranking is the result of the integration of digital services with the plan of reducing bureaucracy. The process took 18 months; however, Turkey now has 1,600 e-government services.
